Gosnell School Board to handle resignations, other businessBy LYNN MAPLESCN Staff WriterGosnell School Board members expect to be handed the resignations of five elementary school teachers and a lunchroom worker during tonight’s monthly meeting.Teachers Kim Mauney and JoAnn Lewis, elementary school cheerleading sponsors Trena Driskill and Angela Brackin, elementary school boys’ basketball coach Mona Gunter, and lunchroom worker CharleneHoskins are all resigning.Superintendent Stan Williams said some of the resignations are yearly changes that were expected such as the cheerleading sponsors and coach. Mauney is resigning because her husband’s job requires him to relocate, and Lewis and Hoskins are retiring.Board members will also decide whether to participate in the Arkansas School Choice Program for the 1996-1997 school year.
