Mr. and Mrs. Michael C. Spelman are on a wedding trip to Nashville, Tenn., following their marriage Saturday, March 22, at the First United Presbyterian church, Hillsdale.The Rev. Gardner L. Winn performed the ceremony for the former Miss Lorie Patricia Lape, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Lape, Hillsdale, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Spelman, 390 Ridgeway, St. Joseph.The bride wore an empire jersey gown trimmed with rows of venise lace and designed with a chapel train. A Juliet cap trimmed with seed pearls held her elbow length illusion veil and she carried white sweetheart roses, blue silk delphiniums and baby’s breath.Mrs. John T. Lape was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Katherine Spelman, sister of the groom, and Mrs. GusDamaske.Ringbearers were Patrick andThomas Henry.Serving as his brother’s best man was John H. Spelman. Ushers were John T.
