MR. AND MRS. GORDON B. YOUNGMildred Irene Whitman Weds Gordon B. Young In West YellowstoneWEST YEIjLOWSTONE - In a March 16 double ring ceremony at the Community Protestant Church in West Yellowstone. Mildred Irene Whitman was married to Gordon B. Young.The Rev. Lyle J. Onstad officiated before an altar banked with white gladioli and apricot chrystanthemunis. Sharon Kiley was organist and Faye Watkins was vocalist.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Whitman of West Yellowstone and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Young, also of West Yellowstone.The bride wore a short gown of white silk organza over taffeta with a sweetheart neckline and appliqued panel of Alencon lace. Her shoulder length veil of nylon net fell from a white satin pillbox and she carried Talisman roses with Stephanotis and ivy.Connie Whitman, sister of the bnde. was maid of honor and La Don W’iedenmeyer was bridesmaid. Clyde Whitman, brother of the bride, served as best man and ushers were Larry Whitman and Kenneth Whitman, cousins of the bride, and Buzz Murray.A reception in the church parlor followed the ceremony. .Assisting were Mrs John Green and Mrs. Nellie Whitman, grandmothers of the bride; Mrs. JoeMaxwell, Mrs. Clyde Whitman,Marilyn Young, Devin Youifg, Kathie Anderson and Sue Savage.The bride attended elemntary school in West Yellowstone and is a graduate of Ennis HighSchool. Her husband was graduated from Granite High School, Salt Lake City, and is now attending Salt Lake School of Electronics.After a wedding trip the coupleis living at 4585 Highland Drive. Salt Lake City.Kay Vandive For StateBOZEMAN-Kaye Vandiver, a senior at Bozeman Senior High School, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Vandiver, Bozeman have returned from Kalispell where Miss Vandiver was honored at the Daughters of the American Revolution banquet held Saturday evening and presented with a $100 U.S. Savings bond as winner in the state Good Citizen contest. Her parents were also guests at the banquet. ,Miss Vandiver was chosen for the honor from among the other contestants sponsored by Montane
