Newly Wed CoupleHonored AtReceptionBh,YCCwFALLON, March 23. {Special' Mr. and Mrs. Stanley C. Schank were honored at a wedding reception Thursday evening in the home of Mr. Schank’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Schank in Harmon district. The couple was married on March 12 in the Logan, Utah, LDS Temple, in the presence of relatives and friends.The bride wore a chapel-length wedding gown of lace over satin with fingertip veil. Her bouquet was of white carnations and stephonotis centered by two white orchids. In the bridal party were two bridesmaids, Miss Nancy Smith, a cousin of the bride, and a college friend, and the bride’s three young sisters, Camille, Kathy and Janet. Cyril Schank stood as his brother’s best man, while two of the bride’s brothers, Garth and Winston Richards, were attendants.A wedding breakfast followed at the Hotel Eccles in Logan for the bridal party, which included parents of the couple. A reception in the LDS Church in Logan was attended by more than 150 friends and relatives.Mr. and Mrs. Schank will leave during the weekend to return to Logan to resume their studies at the Utah State College, where the bride is a sophomore * and the bridegroom a senior, to graduate in June. Their future plans depend on whether Mr. Schank, a commissioned Army officer, will be called into service. Otherwise, he is planning to teach vocational agriculture.Mrs. Schank is the former Sandra Richards, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Smith Richards of Carson City, where her father is associated with the reclamation service. She has been majoring in home economics at Logan and has been active In college affairs.Mr. Schank is the son of Mr. and Mrs, L. C. Schank. He attended the University of Nevada for two years before going to Logan. He is a member of the Blue Key fraternity, Alpha Tau Alpha, and was awarded the Danforth Fellowship last summer.
