Wedding at KernviileThursday evening, March 18th, over■j seventy people assembled at the hospitable home of Mr. and Mrs. William Walker, of Keysville, to witness the i marriage of their daughter Mary, to Mr. Thomas W. Stavert. The house i was prettily decorated with evergreens 1 and wild flowers. At 7:30 Mendelssohn’s wedding march was played by Mr. Jones, as the brid 1 party entered the panor. The bridesmaids were Miss May McCr y and Miss Edith Fugitt; the groom was attended by ! Mr. Henry Stavert and Mr. Hal* MWalker. The bride looked very pretty in a costume of light blue crepon . trimmed with white lace and ribbon and orange blossoms. The bridesmaids were also dressed in light blue with blue and white trimmings. The ceremony was performed by the Rev.W. O. Askins.After receiving the hearty congratu-' lations of their friends, the bridal pair led the way to the dining room where I the tables were loaded with all goodWr • *| things imaginable. After supperI! dancing was enjoyed by old and young ! till early morning. Friday morning the young couple left for Greenhorn ountain where Mr. Stavert had pre-■pared a cosy home for his bride. The esteem in which Mr. and Mrs. Stavert are held by the community was shown by the great number of handsome and useful presents which they received.
