Wedding, Secret Since February, AnnouncedA wedding of local young people which took place in Bedford, February 2 has just been announced .by the parties. Beulah Bass and Harold Hurst went to that city and, unattended, were married. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Edwin F. Shake, pastor of the Methodist church there. The single ring ceremony was read at the church parsonage.Both the young people are among the community’s best and they start life with fine prospects. Thp bride is a daughter of Mrs. Adella Com, Bass who is now in- the state of Washington. Her father was the late Remus Bass, native of Lockhart township as was the mother. Both received their schooling here being graduates of the Winslow high school. The new Mrs. Hurst is one of the best known young women about town, having worked for a long time for the Midwest Telephone company and was at the switchboard for a long time. In her contact with people she made many friends by her splendid service and cheerful manner toward patrons.Mr. Hurst is a son of the late George and Eva Beach Hurst.
