Ferrie and SpetzRites SolemnizedScandia ChurchThe church at Scandia was the scene of a pretty spring wedding at 3:30 Saturday, when Phyllis Elaine Spetz, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Spetz, became the bride of Sgt. Pat Wayne Ferrie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Heath Ferrie, Conewango avenue extension.A 15-minute prelude of piano music was played by Mrs. Clarence Swanson and twro selections, “O Promise Me” and Because” were beautifully sung by Mrs. Foster Maze. The double ring ceremony was performed by the bride’s pastor, Rev. Kenneth Berlin, before an altar decorated with snapdragons and ferns.The bride, escorted by her father, wore a gown of ivory satin and fingertip veil and carried white snapdragons, yellow roses and baby's breath. Elnora Anderson, maid of honor, wore light blue taffeta and carried pink snapdragons. The bridesmaids, sistersRachel, in 1pink taffeta and carrying yellow snapdragons, and Mary, in yellow taffeta with pink snapdragons. The bride’s mother wore powder blue and Mrs. Ferrie wore navy, each with pink carnation corsages.Pfc. Heath Ferrie, stationed at Fort Worth, Texas, air base, was his brother’s best man and ushers were Gerald Rowley, Warren, and Arthur Dahlgren, Jamestown, N.Y.A reception for 65 relatives and friends followed at the home of. the bride's aunt and uncle, Mr. . ano Mrs. Charles Farrell, 214 Or- ; chard street, where guests included the following from out of town: Mrs. Catherine Ryberg, Mrs. Edward Seil and son, Douglas, Buf-ialo, N. Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Ferrie and children, Erie; Mrs. Arthur Payne, Silver Creek, N. Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Oahlgren, Mrs. Oscar Johnson, Mrs. Esther Johnson, Mrs. Robert Birchman and Ruth Peterson, Jamestown; Mrs. P. Vishnie and daughter, Carolyn, Fredonia, N, Y.; Jack Fix, Celoron, N. Y.The bride is a graduate of Warren High School and will continue her employment at the New Process Company. Sgt.
