A pleasing event was held atthe Gilhuly home last Friday jwhen some fifty friends gathered ! to “shower*’ Miss Elizabeth Spence, a bride-elect of the end j of March, with miscellaneous gifts. Dick and lan Gilhuly con-j veyed the gifts to the room on a wagon decorated to represent a large Easter egg. Two of the hostesses, Mrs. Gilhuly and Mrs. Littler. unwrapped the gifts, while the third, Mrs. Anderson, made known the accompanying good wishes. Miss Spence fittingly responded. A dainty lunch was served.
