The Rev.erend G. M. deLeeuw officiated.Parents of the couple are Jake and Lisa Rus of Maurice and Darwin and Helen Rus of Rock Valley.Joni's grandparents are Elmer and Harriet Vermeer and Marv and Clazina Rus, all of Sioux Center. Lance’s grandparents are Jake and Fran Rus of Rock Valley.iMelissa Van Beek, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Carie Rus, sister-in-law of the bride, and Kari Koedam, sister of the groom,was best man. Damon Rus, brother of the groom, and Rick Koedam,brother-in-law of the groom, weregroomsmen.Tim Rus and Tom Rus, brothers of the bride, and Dave Van Beek, brother-in-law of the bride, were ushers..Following: the wedding ceremony, a wedding reception was held at the Netherlands Reformed Christian School in Rock Valley. The couple took a honeymoon trip to Jamaica.Joni works full-time at Vet Pharm in Sioux Center. Lance is employed full-time in farming. They are' residing northwest of Rock
