CARLSON-JOHNSONA pretty wedding took place at the home of Mr.- and Mrs. A. G. Johnson on Wednesday evening, March 12th, at 7:45 o'clock when their daughter, May belle, was united in marriage to Mr. Theodore J. Carlson of Monterey, Minn. The ceremony was performed by Rev. P. Berg, pastor of the Ev. Free Church, in the presence of about fifty relatives and friends.The couple were attended by Miss Melva Carlson, a friend 01 the bride and David Carlson, a brother of the groom, while the wedding march was played by Miss Esther Lovgren.The bride wore a lovely gown of green silk crepe and carried a boquefc of roses and sweet peas, while the groom wore a dark business suit.The home was beautifully decorated for the occasion in the brides chosen colors and following the ceremony a delicious two-course luncheon was served.The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Johnson of this city. She graduated from the Albert City High School with the class of ’28. The same year she went to Los Angeles, California, where she took a course in telegraphy, securing a position with the Western Union there, which she held for several months, later being transferred to Minneapolis, Minn., where she was employed until the time of her marriage. She has an unusual pleasing personality and has awide circle of friends.The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Carlson of Monterey, Minn., and has been engaged in farm work in this vicinity the past few years, and is well liked by all who know him.The couple will reside on a farm near Monteray, Minnesota which the groom has rented for the coming year.Those in attendance from out-of-town were the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Carlson and family of Monterey, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lindeen and daughter of Ft.
