Downed plane found: Atwin-engine plane missing for three days was discovered Saturday in a remote, hilly area in the Antelope Valley, and two bodies were spotted near the wreckage, authorities said.The Cessna 320 was found at 3 p.m. about 15 miles northeast of Gorman by Los Angeles Countysheriff’s deputies sweeping thearea in a helicopter, said Maj. Joe Bradley of the Civil Air Patrol.The investigation was being turned over to the Kern County Sheriff’s Department, which was preparing to send ground teams to search for a reported third passenger, Bradley said.Various law-enforcement agencies were aiding the Civil Air Patrol, which launched a search after the plane disappeared Wednesday morning.The plane was en route from Lake Havasu, Ariz., to Seattle.The two bodies have not been identified. Bradley said the three reportedly aboard were pilot'John P. Culhane, of Anchorage, Alaska; his son, Patrick Culhane; and his son’s friend, Glenn Cope.
