Officiating at the 3 p.m. ceremony was the Rev. Kenneth A. Hurst. The bride was given in marriage by her father.For her wedding she chose a silk organza sheath with a molded bodice, trimmed with lace and seed pearls, and a sweetheart neckline. Sleeves were long and tapered. Lace and pearls etched the hem of the skirt and an overskirt had lace-edged scallops extending into a chapel sweep. Her bouffant veil of bridal illusion was secured by a lace cap with pearl and pleated tulle trim. The bride carried a crescent of white roses and stephanotis.Mrs. William Steinmetz, matron of honor, and Diane Von Gonten, bridesmaid, wore azalea peau taffeta sheath dresses in cocktail length. The fitted bodice of each gown had a bateau neckline.
