JENKINS-PETRICKWEDDINGUnder the glow of softly burning candles in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Jenkins on North Main St. at 4 P. M. Saturday, March 12, Miss Floreine Jenkins was united in marriage to John Paul Petrick.The Rev. Ralph H. Seiler read the marriage vows using the double ring ceremony.The bride is a graduate of Burnet High School, attended a business school in Austin and at present employed by Duncan-Husted Inc.Mr. Petrick is the son of Mr. and Mrs. V. Petrick of Detroit, Michigan. He was graduated from Kingsland High School and attended a business school in Dallas and served some two years in the U. S. Army. He, with his brother operate the Petrick Granite quarries in Llano County.The alter which was arranged in the bay window of the living room, was decorated with tall arrangements of peach and wild plum blossoms, with trailing myrtle for greenery, and flanked on either side by harmonizing low arrangements and white burning tapers in silver candelabra. Similar arrangements of flowers and candles were placed aboutthe reoeption rooms.Mrs. John G. Word, Jr., played the pre-nuptial music and accompanied Mrs. Garland G. lt;Medders, who sang “Because.”The bride, led to the altar by her father, wore a navy gabardine suit, with a hat of matching straw, and brown lizigator accessories, and a car-sage of white Phalatfcopsis Orchids.Mrs. Byron Jenkins attend-jed her sister as Matron of hon-jor. She wore a dress of* navy blue crepe with white lace | trim and black accessories and a corsage of pink Gladiolus.The groom was attended by his brother, Louis Murchison.For her daughter's wedding, the bride’s mother wore a two piece suit of navy blue crepe1(Year in and year outyou’ll do well with the HARTFORDaccented by a corsage of pink camellias.After the young couple had received the congratulations of their friends, an informal reception was held for the wedding party which consisted of the immediate families and a few close friends.The bride’s table was laid with white embroidered linen clcth. The central floral arrangement was of white Gladiolus in a silver bowl and flanked on either side by triple white burning tapers in silver candelabra.The three tiered white wedding cake was topped by a miniature wedding bell, uponwhich a white dove restedlightly upon a silver and white flower arrangement.Mrs. Lewis Murchison of Buchanan Dam. sister of the groom served the cake and Mrs. Jamie Petrick poured thepunch.Mrs. Eddie Petrick presided at the Bride’s book. Misses Lu-eile Eanes, Lola Gayle Shilling and Joyce Ray assisted in serving.
