FREDRICK FRANK STROUFMarilyn Pogue Weds Fredrick Strouf FridayWedding vows were exchanged Friday by Mias Marilyn Joyce Pogue, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Milton Pogue of Rockdale, and Fredrick Frank Strouf, son of Gerald J. Strouf of Phoenix.The ceremony was conducted at 7:30 p. m. at the College Church of Christ at Las Cruces, N. M. Mr. Pogue, minister of the Rockdale Church of Christ, performed the double - ring ceremony and gave his daughter in marriage.The altar area was decorated with three baskets of gladioli and two tree candelabra holding tapers decorated with greenery. A group of singers from the church provided the wedding music.The bride wore a long white lace gown, designed with a full skirt that swept into a train. Her gown was fashioned with a round neckline and tapered sleeves and she wore a pearl drop necklace.Her veil was a petal headdress with several layers of lace. She carried a cascade bouquet of white gladioli.The bride,s sister. Miss Alice Elaine Pogue, was her maid of honor and Miss Kathy Allen was bridesmaid. The attendants wore long formal gowns in empire style baby blue satin with low cut backs and long white gloves. Their headpieces were white flowers with .short veils. They carried colonial bouquets of white gladioli with ribbon streamers.Tony Cruz was best man andMike Fedoroff was groomsman. The couple’s brothers, Dan Pogue and Dan Strouf were ushers and candlelighters.thecorsage with matching rose ribbons.A reception fol lowed ceremony at the church.The bride’s table was decorated with a blue cloth over-layed with white and centered with a long low arrangement of flowers and white candles. The wedding cake was topped with bells.Mrs. Mike Ziehl preseided at the guest book and Mrs. Robert Carver, Miss Karen Sorrell and Mrs. Doug Kregal at the table.When the couple left on a wedding trip Mrs. Strouf was wearing a light blue suit.
