Conservatory Group of 100 Voices to Sing. TN. the presentation of the oratorio, “Elijah.” by. “the chorus of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, composed of more than 100 “voices, assisted by members of the Conservatory Student. Sym phony Orchestra under the direction of John, A. Hoffmann, member of the artist faculty of the Conservatory, Sunday at 3 p. m., in Concert Hall, many advanced students of the Con servatory will sing solo roles. Al most every solo part is to be sung by a different person. Piano accompani ments will be played by Miss Mona Alderman. Hoffmann is as well known for it work in, directing choruses as he is for his success as a voice teacher and coach in repertoire.Tehug directed the ‘dhoty of 8. John Unitarian Church for’ a number of years,and has presented them in a series of highly creditable performances before the Cincinnati public. Students sing ing solo roles on this occasion in clude: Charles Rogers, Lucie Rauch, Katherine Rose, Robert Powell, Janie Ellwood, Helen Morgan, Dorothy Dickerger, Minnie Oswald, Sol Hol werk, Ralph Rigby, Frank Zwygar, Ellis Frakes, Harriet Schafer, Leonard ‘Treash, Ezra “Hoffmann, Pansye Keaton, Franklin Bens, Robert Crone, Sherwood Rains, Mary Purcell, Frances Reese, Louise Koehler, Ruth Carhart, Louis Aiken and Harry Nolte.
