Brenda Joyce English And Richard Dowdell Are Married March 1Brenda Joyce English of Peoria Heights, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence English of Wilkins Road, became the bride of Richard Dowdell of Peoria, son of Mr. •and Mrs. Pat Dowdell of Mount Vernon, Ohio, on March 1 at the First Methodist Church.Cheryl Judy of Peoria Heights— was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Roma English and Mrs. Richard Coon, sisters of the bride.Pat Alexander of Fort Wayne, Indiana was best man, and groomsmen were Richard Day Jr. and David Dowdell, brother of the groom, both of Mount Vernon. Ron Zimmerman of Peoria and Larry Starkweather of Culver, Indiana served as ushhers.A reception was held at the chhurch following the ceremony.The bride was graduated from Richwoods High School, and is employed at -Caterpillar Tractor -Co. The groom attended high school in Mount Vernon, and revived his bachelor!s_degree_in_engineering from Tri-State College, and his masters degree in business administration fromBowling Green State University. He is' employed as an engineer by the city of Peoria.After a wedding trip to New Orleans, the couple will make their new Tiome at 1308 W. Cov-ington Ct.
