Puhi* rnann performed the double ring ceremony at St Peter’s United Church of Christ The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Fred Thies, Sumner, and parents of the groom arc* Mr. and Mrs. Alberti Wittenburg.j f tawkeye.Arlen Schwerin. Sumner sang several selections and was accom-pained at the organ by Mrs. RaySehwarzc. 8 I : 'ijj § - f H f.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of lace over satin and carried a bouquet of red roses,Mary Jean Thies, the bride’s sister, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Richard Pledge nkuhie .and Mrs. Melvin Oh 1 err-dorf They wore identical dresses of red and silver with red velvet bodices. All wore whitecarnations.Cindy Keding was the flowergirl dressed in white taffeta j Roy Guenther acted as ring bearer.i Best man was John Witten-; burg, brother of the groom. Karen Biermann, Marlene Miller,Connie Brunscheon, Sandra Broi-lieir and Patricia Voss The bride is employed at the s Sumner Bakery and the groom is l~ in the Armed forces stationed at n Fort Sill, Oklahoma, where the v couple will make their home.
