'» ■» A _ __the bride to be has attended since childhood. The church, which is at 409 Northis about two blocks north of the Independence square and about four blocks east of the Truman home. Miss Truman’s engagement to Daniel, a mem-her of the editorial staff of the New York Times, was announced here Monday by Mr. and Mrs. Harry S. Truman. The parish was founded in 1844 and the church building was constructed in 18S0. It is the mother church of Episcopal churches in the Kansas City area. The membership now is about 600. Father Patric L. Hutton, rector, said that a complete rehabilitation of the building, which began about two years ago, will be completed within the next few weeks — (Kansas °City Starphotograph).
