On Monday, February 11, occurr ed the wedding of Miss Mary Ann Hoskins, of Ottumwa, to Pfc. Wm. E. King, of Moulton. The ceremony was performed at St. Mary’s church in Ottumwa, with the Rev. I. M. Walsh officiating at the candlelighted alt ar. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R H. Hoskins of Ottumwa, and the bridegroom a son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl King, of Moulton. The bride was given in marriage by her father, and was attractive in a white marquisette gown, and car ried a shower bouquet of what car nations and snapdragons. Miss Dana Hoskins, wearing a pink net gown, served her sister hed a shower bouquet of white car as maid of honor, and the bride maids were another sister, Miss Patty Hoskins, and Miss Harriett Windhell,.They wore pink and white net gowns, respectively. Pfc. King wore the Army uniform of his rank. A reception was held at the home of the bride following the ceremony. Those from Moulton attending the wedding were the bridegroom’s mother, Mrs. Earl King, and Mrs. Jo Daley and son, Joe Donald. The newlyweds left after the re ception on a wedding trip, after which they will make their home at 202 West Park Ave., Ottumwa, until Pfc. King returns to his duty in the Army at the conclusion of his 90 day furlough.
