Burr, when i Miss Ruth Soadler became the bride of their son, Allyn Lord Burr. The wedding was to have been one of the after Benton affairs and the earlier date simplified all the appointments, which, however, were attractive. The bride, who was unattended, was given away by her father, James Headier. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Charles Meil. Mr. and Mrs. Burr left last night for a few weeks’ stay in the south.* * *One of the 'at homes” of the week was given Wednesday by Mrs. C. H. Krebs. The incentive was the return to Sacramento of Mrs. Freda Lang. Mrs. Krebs’ sister, and the departure this week of the hostess and her daughter, Mrs. Alice Avery, for a long stay in the east.
