Last Thursday Eli Tlncher and Edith Sullivan were married in this city by Justice Hurkeby, a man named John McRae swearing to the affidavit regarding her age before Deputy County Clerk Qaitber would issue the license. This morning aletter was received from the glrl’a father, William B. O. Sullivan at Washington, Ind., asking If the license had been issued and if Jesse Myers had sworn that the girl was of age. lie said that the men bad stolen bis daughter and that she was only seventeen years old. Myers was probably McRae and is guilty of perjury and Mr. Sallivan threatens to prosecute him. Tincher was illiterate, dumb-looking fellow and could hardly spell his own or the girl’s name in the clerk’s office. Shedid accompany him.
