Fritzjunker of St. Paul, la., in a double-ring ceremony and nuptial mass at 10:30 o’clock in' St. Mary’s Roman Catholic church at KeokukSaturday, March 3.The Rev. Harold E. O’Conner officiated at the exchange of vows in the presence of relatives and a large company of guests. The processional was by Rossini and the recessional by Mallard.Adrian Meierotto of West Poinft served his cousin as best man, and ushers were Adrian Box and Jim Conrad of West Point, and Dennis Meierotto of Keokuk, brother of the bride. *Escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown of white slipper satin designed with a basque waist, scalloped bateau neckline appli-qued with French Alencon lace and long sleeves tapered over the wrists. The full skirt, accented with self-fabric cabbage roses at the carriage-back, featured deep pleats over the hips and extended into a chapel train. The gown was designed and made by the bride. Her fingertip veil of imported silk illusion was held in place by a petal crown of lace outlined by pearls. She carried a cascade arrangement of white roses centered with a white orchid.Mrs. Raymond Miller was matron of honor for her sister and bridesmaids were Karen and Judy Meierotto, sisters of the bride, and Dolores Fritzjunker, sister of the bridegroom.They were attired in identical gowns of emerald green society taffeta styled with fitted bodices, high rounded necklines and long sleeves. The tiered skirts were enhanced with a small bow at the back. They wore matching halfbow hats and carried circle balls covered with white carnations accented with silver bells.Susan Miller, niece of the bride, was flower girl. She wore a white embossed taffeta frock trimmed with an emerald green sash and a self-fabric rose at the back. She wore a miniature replica of the bridesmaids’ hats and scattered rose petals from a small basket.For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Meierotto chose a navy blue afternoon dress with white accessories, and Mrs. Fritzjunker, mother of the bridegroom, was attired in a royal blue crepe sheath with white accessories. Each wore an orchid corsage.Immediately following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was held at the Knotty Pine Inn for the bridal party and members of the immediate families. The table was decorated in the bride’s chosen colors of emerald green and silver.A reception for more than 400 guests was held at the American Legion ballroom at West Point from 2 until 5 p.m. The Doyle Hoyer orchestra provided music for the tea dance.The bride’s T-shaped table, covered with white linen, was centered with an arrangement of white roses and orchids. Twila Benjamin of Ft. Madison and Martha Meierotto of West Point presided at the punch bowls. Mrs. Nora Menke and Mrs. Edward Milone of Burlington poured.The four-tiered white and silver wedding cake was cut by Mrs. Bill Benson, sister of the bride, and Carolyn Estes, Ft. Madison. They were assisted by Eilene Box, Salem, and Glorene Reuter, West Point. Peggy Meierotto, another sister of the bride, had charge of the guest book.Mrs. Adrian Box, Mrs. Edward Box, Mrs. Adrian Holtkamp and Mrs. Dennis Holtkamp were in charge of the gift table.Dining room hostesses were Mrs. Arnold Steffensmeier of Salem, Mrs. Inga Eddy of Centerville,Mrs. Andrew Holtkamp of St. Paul, Mrs. Alvis Meierotto of Don-nellson and Mrs. Raymond Miller sr., of Keokuk.For a wedding trip to Chicago, the bride chose a black jersey suit with a fur collar. She wore a white orchid corsage. The couple will be at home at 104 West Court, Chariton.Saturday’s bride was graduated from Keokuk Senior high school, Keokuk Community College and Iowa State University. She is employed as Lucas County Extension Home Economist at Chariton.Mr. Fritzjunker was graduated from St. Jajnes high school in St. Paul and attended Iowa State University at Ames. He is presently serving on active duty with the 495th Army Engineers at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.Guests from Chariton, Centerville, FI. Madison, Kinross, North English, Oskaloosa, Salem, West Point, St. Paul, Donnellson, Burlington, Montrose, Russell, Spirit Lake, Pilot Grove, Birmingham, Ottumwa, Washington, Muscatine, Bonaparte and Lockridge, Iowa, Minneapolis, Minn., Nauvoo, 111., and North Dakota attended.*** *Pre-nuptial parties for the bride included a shower given by the Lucas County 4-H Committee at Chariton and a miscellaneous shower by Delores Fritzjunker, Karen and Judy Meierotto at St. Paul. The bride’s parents entertained with a rehearsal party in their home Friday evening.First Baptist Church To Have Open HouseThe First Baptist church will hold an open house for the public Sunday afternoon, March 18, from 2 to 4 p.m.Refreshments will be served and a tour of the new educational building will be conducted.
