Padgett-Dixon Vows AnnouncedMrs. A. H. Shoptaw of Linton is announcing the marriage of her daughter, Miss Joretta Padgett to Robert Dixon, son of Mr.; and Mrs. Forrest Dixon of Bloomfield.The nuptial vows were read at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning by the Rev. Charles W. Layton with the mothers of the bride and bridegroom acting as attendants.The bride wore an aqua blue dress with black accessories. Mrs.Shoptaw wore a navy blue dress and Mrs. Dixon wore a floweredprint dress. jBoth of the young people arewell known in this community.The bride attended the LintonStockton high school. Mr. Dixonattended the Bloomfield schoolsand recently returned from fiveyears service with the UnitedStates Army.An informal reception was heldat the home of the bride following the ceremony. The young people plan to make their home in Bloomfield.(
