At the home of Mrs. Eva M. Friedgen, on east Sixth street, Wednesday evening, oocured the wedding of her charming daughter, Mies Christine, to Ambrose E liott. The parlors were tastefully decorated with palms, smilax, ont flowers, and Easter lilies. At 8 o'clock the ceremony was performed by Rev. Jolios F. Schwarz, pastor of the Germim Presbyterian church. Miss Elizabeth Friedgen, a sister of the bride, sweetly played the wedding march from Mendelssohn daring the entire service. The bride, who is a very pretty blonde, looked very boantifal and youthful in her wedding gown of white organdie, trimmed iu valenoienoea laoe and white ribbon. A large bouquet of bride's roses was carried daring the evening and greatly enhanced her loveliness. The conple were unattended. After congratulations a dainty Innoheon was served in the dining room, and the evening given op to merry making. The bride, who is a aweet singer, fsvored the company with a sweet vocal solo, entitled, ‘‘If I were a Rose. Mb*, for several years,was a stenographer, and waanntil lately employed at Richmond, by the Wesoott Carriage Company. She is a lady greatly loved and respected and her friends are legion. Mr. Elliott is the son of J. M. Elliott, of this city, and is a very exemplary youog mao. He is employed at the P. H. A F. M. Rootsfonndry as a machinist.Mr. and Mrs. Elliott went to their new home on Third street, last night* and begun at once the stern reality of house keeping. The Timee-News extends congratulations.
