He tbrought with him a young girl about 21 years of age, by the name of Matilda jTeuber, and took her to his home ]where resided his wife—with one or more children—to whom he l ad been married about five years previous.On June 30, 1807, Hunsaker and 1Matilda Teuber, aged 23, came to Og- 5den, went to the courthouse, took out Ia marriage license, Hunsaker giving I his name as Simeon A. Hansel, aged j 27, and were married. The man iage Ioccurred in the courthouse, and New- 5ton Farr, elder In the Church of Jesus [ Christ of Latter-day Saints, is the person who performed the ceremony, with | Willard Hamer and Sam T. Myers jas witnesses. Your informant has Jseen the marriage license application, j and the above mentioned names are copied from said license, which Is No. 36. Since this marriage, there has been trouble In the Hunsaker home, Iand Hunsaker had evidently gotten tired 6f wife No. 1, for ho has at times | cruelly beaten her. So cruelly had I she been beaten that her father, Mr. j A. K. Green, became enraged, and InJuly of last year a warrant was swornout against Hunsaker, and Sheriff Bel-nap went to arrest him, but It is believed that Hunsaker was warned, forwhen Eelnap arrived on the field ofoperations the bird had flown with wi fe No. 2.
