William K. Knowles and Mrs. Julia Jacobus, who came to this city from Knox county, Satu rday and made an unsuccessful effort to secure a marriage license, being refused because the bride-to-be was a non-resident of the county, secured the necessarry papers at Vincennes Monday and were united in marriage that night.
