LINDA HOSEK • DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSEGOLD MEDAL GLOW: Vivian Cadman Eddy shows the Congressional Gold Medal she received for flying for the Women Airforce Service Pilots during World War II after a ceremony at the Capitol Visitor Center in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday. During her service, Eddy delivered nine P-51 aircraft from California to New Jersey.
