Marjorie Ann, to George Thornburgh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Thornburgh. Blair, on Sunday. March 6. at 4 o’clock, at the TrinityMethodist church in Lincoln.Preceding the ceremony Gene McCartney sang several musical numbers and Jimmy Chittick, cousin of the bride, lighted the candles.The bride was attended by her sister. Miss Lorraine Mains, and by Miss Alma Thornburgh, sister of the bridegroom. Both attendants chose daytime trocks of powder blue, and wore corsages of pink sweetpeas.Roy Long of Blair served Mr. Thornburghas best man, and Jim Nicola and Mark Hargraves ushered.Mrs. Thornburgh appeared in a pale grey twro piece frock trimmed with pastel embroidery. Her accessories were in rose and her corsage was of pink rosesThe bride is a graduate of St. Mary’s academy at O’Neill, and Mr. Thornburgh attended Iowa State college at Ames, la. He is now a student at the University of Nebraska, and is a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
