I. A. WOODIsaac Alonzo Hood died at his home on Congress street at 1 p. m. Saturday^ March 5th, just an hour before the fu- J neral of his son, William A. Wood, in the I next house. Mr. Wood had been m failing health for several years and his mind was partially impaired. His son had been ill for about a week and the father had been able to call on him during Uiat time, but he died without knowing that Ins son J had also passed away. Mr. Wood was born in Belfast, the son of Mr. and Mrs. e James Wood, and one of a long line of stone and brick masons. He was a good citizen and a conscientious workman. His wife, formerly l.ucy Jane Lear, died several years ago and since then he had made his home with his daughter, Harriet Ella, wife of Ephraim A. Wood. The tu-neral took place at his late home Monday at 2 p. m., with Rev. Charles W. Martin of the Methodist church officiating.
