Married in Illinois.Miss Etta Ashbaugh, the popular clerk in Mansfield's store, who makes her home here with her grandmother, Mrs. Ashbaugh, quietly stole away to Robinson, 111., Feb. 28, in company with her sweetheart, John Clift, of Highland township, and were married. They then went to Terre Haute and visited relatives for a day, after which Mrs. Clift returned here and has been at her usual place in the store since. The secret is out now and as soon as John Ashbaugh and family mov® here from Stanford to care for Grandma Ashbaugh, Mr. and Mrs. Clift will take up life on a farm.
