Just at the hour of 3:30 the contracting parties entered, the bride being supported by her mother and Mrs. David Sclig, and the grocm accompanied by Mr. David Sohg and Mr. Adolph Loeb. The bride was»richly jttired in white satin, wore white slippors, and crowned with a nuiriiificent wrftnth of orange bios-soms, wore a boquet of tube roses, and was enveloped in a rich veil of lace. The groom wore a rich black suit with white necktie and gloves. After the ceremony, the company entered carriages and were driven to the residence of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Straus, where congratulations followed and the party entered into the full enjoyment of the occasion. Soon tho assembly, some 75 couples or more, were invited to bo seated at the supper tables; andamoro complete bill of fare and finer decorated tables are seldom seen anywhere. To use a comm6n expression, the tables fairly groaned under the weight of gooj j things they bore. The party entered into this part of tho programme in earnest, and tho feasting was contin-cd for several hours, during which time many pert and spicy telegrams were received by the happy couple and read to tho company, offering hearty congratulations ami well wishes. A number of toasts were offered at this hour, some amusing and others grand and pithetie, none more so than the remarks made bv Prof. D.*D. Luke, who seemed to take the party by storm, and spoko in rich and flowing eloquence. At 9:30 the party repaired to Un icn hall, where everything was in readiness for gaily tripping the light fantastic. About fifty couples took part in theso exercises, and a most enjoyable time was had. Tho ladies were mostly attired in white with white gloves and slippers, and bouuuets for crowuing ornaments; while tho gentlemeu wore white neckties and button-holo bouquets.
