Skerrltt, son of Mrs Phyllis Skerrltt of Sliver City. The Rev, Paul H. Hicks performed the ceremony. Candles were lighted by Keith Mintle, brother of the bride, and Billy Scott, her cousin. Miss Marguerite Burgoin, cousin of the groom, played the piano and accompanied William Jurgens, vocalist. Baskets of flowers decorated the altar.The bride was attired in an all-over lace gown over taffeta In traditional white. The, dress featured an illusion neckline, long pointed sleeves and a full skirt. Her fingertip veil was held by a halo of ruffles and sequins, She carrier a bouquet of pink carnations and Garcia mums.The maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Miss Marianna Mintle. She wore a ballerina length gown of seafoam crystalline, and carried pink carnations.Beat man was Robert Kruse of Sliver City. Ushers were Dean Maddocks of Glenwood, Sheldon Williams of Silver city and Don Briley of Malvern,At the reception which was arranged by Mary’s Circle of the Women’s Society of Christian Service, the lace-covered 'table was centered with a four-tiered wedding cake in pink and white. It was decorated In doves and topped with a miniature bride and groom. A three-branched candlestick carried tall pink and white candles which were marked with little bouquets of. lilies of the valley. Red rosebuds and srallax were beautifully arranged around the cake and the candlestick.The bride's aunt, Mrs Edward Jirovski, was hostess at the reception. .Miss Josephine Johnson had the guest book; Mrs Fred Lienza and MisB Marlene Slater received the gifts, Th© bride’s aunt, Mrs Jack' Lemonds, poured the coffee; the groom’s aunts, Mrs Dora Goos and Mrs Ralph Skerrltt, served the cake and ices. Other assistants at the reception were Miss Alice Schade, Miss Carolyn Reinert and Miss Gloria Kirchoff, all of Glenwood and Miss Phyllis Turner of Humphrey,, Nebr.Mr and Mrs Skerrltt left for a short honeymoon trip to the South, after which they will be at home on the groom's farm near Malvern, The bride, a graduate of Glenwood High School in 19EE, has been employed at Council Bluffs Savings Bank. Mr Skerrltt, after completing the Silver City schools, attended Iowa State College at Ames for two and a half years and served with the Airborne Division of the Armyfor two years.
