Wednesday, Feb. 28, in the Wesley Methodist parsonage at Leeds, Nadine Eberle, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Eberle of Scranton, becamethe bride of Cpl. Alvin Black, con of Mrs. Jack Upham of Scranton.The Kev. Victor Schuldt officiated and Mr. and Mrs. William Eberle, uncle and aunt of -the bride, were their attendants.A suit of soldier blue was chosen by the bride for the wedding, and with it she wore brown accessories, a flower in her hair and a corsage of baby roses and sweet peas.After the ceremony, the couple visited in Sioux City with relatives until the following Saturday, when they returned to Scranton to visit until March 8, when they left for Santa Ana, Calif., to visit a sister of Corporal Black’s and to make their home there as long as he is stationed in that vicinity.Both Mr. and Mrs. Black are local young people. The bride was graduated from Scranton high school with the class of 1941 and for the last two years has been employed in Sioux City. Corporal Black has been in the armod forces since April of 1942.
