Announcements have just been made' of the marriage of Miss Effie Hall, daughter of Jdr. and Mrs, George Hall to Harold Hoots in Joliet last 4th of j July. They will be at home to their i friends at 559 Galena Boulevard after April 1. They hava many friends here who wish them happiness and prosperity.About twenty young ladies gave a variety shower in honor of Mrs. Harold Boots at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Hall, Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Hoots received many nice gifts. Dainty refreshments were served.
