Dr. Ernestine McGee officiated. The couple was married Oct.The bride is the daughterof Willie Howell and Esther Shaw Howell of Wilson. She graduated from Hunt High School.The groom is the son ofNorman Barbee of Cary and Lillian F. Barbee of Wilson. He graduated from Fike High School.The couple’s daughter, Tequida Barbee-Parrish, served as maid of honor.Lavem Dixon Bridgers was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were SheliaTynes, sister of the bride;Shanita Barkley, niece of the bride; LaTerri Bynum, cousin of the bride; Latres-sa Norman; and Channel Wilson.Tiya Joyner and Breanna Barkley served as angels.Flower girls were Ma-kayla Barkley and Asia Higgs.Daniah Wade was bell ri nger. ^The groom’s brother, Stuart Barbee, was best man.Groomsmen were Vincent B. Music was provided by The Monitors band. At the reception, the groom gave the bride a dozen red roses and matching diamond and pearl necklace and earrings.The couple lives in Wilson and is planning a honeymoon to the Hawaiian Islands.
