Dover pair surprised on anniversaryA surprise open house Feb. 27 in their home marked the 35th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond (Patricia) Espenschied of 310 W. 5th st.. Dover.Hosting the event were their children, Thomas of Dover, Mrs. Ronald (Patti) Kaser of New Philadelphia and Cathy of the home. Six grandchildren complete the family.The former Patricia Penrod, a daughter of the late George and Catherine Penrod of Dover, and Raymond, ason of William and Goldie Espenschied of Trenton, Fla., formerly of Dellroy, were married Feb. 27. 1947, by Rev. Gerald North of Magnolia.The couple are members of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover, and Mr. Espenschied is employed by Babcock Wilcox at Canton.
