The wedding took! place in Erie on February 22. with the Rev, C. W. McCaskey, pastor ofthe. Methodist church, officiating.The bride wore, a street length dress of blue wool and a shoulder corsage of white orchids. For‘'something old1' she wore a necklace previously worn by the great, greatgrandmother; great grandmother;; grandmother and mother of thebridegroom. jMrs. Giering is a graduate of the Knox high school, class of 1942, and attended Bellhven college, in Jackson, Miss. She is employed as a commercial teacher at the Ashland township consolidated school.The bridegroom was graduated from Ernlenton high school in 1938,! and was recently discharged from the navy following four years of service. He is now employed as manager of the Giering Restaurantin Ernlenton.Following a wedding trip to New; York city, they wall reside with the br ide’s parents.
