--- - V AMr. Asa Martin Jr. and Miss Theora Edwards wore united in marriage at tho homo of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Aoonoth Edwards, on Short street in this city last Wed-Inesday evening, tho ceremony being performed by Rev. Clias. E. Hiatt. The happy couple immediately drove to the home of the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Asa Martin south of town, where a surprise was boing held on his sister Miss Blanche, but did not announce their now relation until after the crowd had departed. Tho bride is a charming young lady, and the groom is well-known here having recently purohasod an intor-ost in the Fudge meat market. The Joubnal joins their innumerable friends in wishing them long life and happiness.
