Eaklns Jr., son of Mrs. Ann Eakins .of Mishawaka, Ind., and Charles Eakins of Oak-wood, Ohio, were married in a home wedding Feb. 14.The Rev. Howard Bedell read the ceremony before an altar formed with baskets of white gladioli and blush pink chrysanthemums, in the presence of the immediate families and a few close friends.Mrs. Larry Bengston of Minneapolis, Minn., was her sisterdn-law’s honor matron. She wore a navy '-blue suit accented with a corsage of pink roses. The bride chose a navy blue suit for her wedding. Miss Bengston’s corsage was sweetheart roses.Wayne Sargent of Blue Island, served as best man.The bride was graduated from Farmington Community High School in 1955. Mrs. Eakins was graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1949 and is at present studying toward a degree in construction engineering.After a two-week honeymoon in Florida the couple will be living in Newark, N. J. where he is employed by the firm of Porter, Ur-quhart, McCreary and O’Brien, Consulting Engineers.
