Cochran are at home In Carlsbad following their recent marriage at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert De Santis performing the double-ring ceremony.The new Mrs. Cochran is the former Miss Christine Saiz, daughter of Mrs. Ruth Saiz of 3107 Siringo Rondo and of Benny Saiz of Cedar Crest. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert T. Cochran of 306 West Houghton.The bride wore a white brocade A-line gown styled with high neckline and fur trim on the sleeves. A satin bow headdress made by the groom’s mother held her shoulder-length veil in place and she carried white carnations.Given in marriage by her cousin, Mike Lucero, the bride was attended by Miss Juanita Rodriguez who wore an empire style gown of gold velveteen and chiffon.Johnny Felix Jr. served as best man. Albert T. Cochran Jr. and Steve Cochran were ushers.Mrs. Saiz wore a brown knit ensemble accented with white i carnation corsage and Mrs. Cochran chose a beige woolen costume worn with white carnation corsage.The reception followed at the home of the bride’s mother.The bride was graduated In 1969 from Santa Fe High and the bridegroom attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces following his graduation from SFHS.Friendly New Mexicans
