Whitehall Girl Is - Wed in Butte0Dignity and beauty in detail market the wedding solemnized Friday evening, March 24, when Mavis Maratha Clark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Clark of Whitehall, became the bride of Robert Roy Purinton, son of Mr.! and Mrs. Ed Purinton of Bonners Ferry, Idaho.r The ceremony took place at 7 1 o’clock at the home of the bride’s . brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar McIntosh, of 2800 Ore-gon, Butte. The young couple stood ‘ before a large picture window,5 flanked by many lighted tapers. The Rev. Dommer, pastor of the Gold Hill Lutheran church, officiated. Music rendered for the wedding was “I Love You Truly” and “Because,” by Mrs. Cyrus Hotrum and Marlowe McIntosh.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a street length dress of white taffeta with all accessories in white. She wore a corsage of red roses.Mrs. Dana Clark was matron of honor and Dana Clark, brother of ^ the bride, acted as best man.Immediately after the ceremony r a reception w'as held at the McIntosh home, with 40 immediate relatives and friends in attendance.The bride's table was beautifully decorated, and centered was a three tiered wedding cake.The young couple will spend the summer months in Alaska. n Guests at the wedding included: g) l* Mr. and Mrs. Purinton and two sons. ta Verne and Bill Purinton; Mr. and g( i- Mrs. Cyrus Hotrum, Mr. and Mrs. h( d Dean Tidball of Whitehall, Mr. and gt e Mrs. Art Rolorchick, Mr. and Mrs. je R.
