MISS LYDIA KOGHERA WEOS A. B. NEWMAN !N BAPTIST GHURGHMiss Lydia Ann Koch era, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John G Kochcra, Northwood, and Ain os Boyd Newman, son of- Mr, and Mrs. S. B. Newman, 317 west 17tli street, were married in the Grace Baptise church, Tuesday evening, March l at 6:30 o’clock.The Rev. william Rutherford officiated.The couple was attended by Miss Willa P. Walk, Vail, as maid of honor and David G, Kochcra, brother of the bride as best man. The ushers were Robert McCahan and Lee James, both of Tyrone.The Hosband sisters, of Port Matilda, sang “Always” and “I Love You Truly”, and the traditional wedding marches were also played by one of them. The altar of the church was decorated with palms and ferns.The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin weding gown with long pointed sleeves and sweetheart neckline and long train. She also wore a , single strand of pearls. Her shoulder length veil fell from a seeded pearl tiara. She carried a white Bible with an orchid. The maid of honor wore a nile green dress, a triple strand of pearls, a gift of the bride and bridegroom, and carriei a bouquet of pink roses. The mother of the bride wore a grey suit with white accessories and a corsage of : pink rosebuds, and the bridegroom’s 1 mother chose a grey tailored dress • with grey accessories. She wore a ^ corsage of pink rosebuds.1 The bride is a graduate of Tyrone High school class of 1947. The s bridegroom was graduated in 194G.- Both are employel by the General Electric Company in Erie.5 Following the ceremony, a'recep-- tion was held at the home o£ the1 bridegroom's parents for 25 guests,- among whom were those from Harrisburg, Erie, Bald Eagle and_ Tyrone. The couple will live at 9602 West eighth street, Erie.3 The parents of the bride were . married at 6 o’clock in the G'olum-. bia Avenue Methodist church 22- years ago March 1st.
