POLLOCK-O’BRIENAt a very lovely home wedding.Miss Janet Rankin Pollock became the bride of Howard Chase O’Brien, Friday, February 22, at 3 o'clock, Rev. A. W. Palmer officiating. The ceremony which was followed by a small reception was held i at the home of the bride’s cousin, Mrs. Simpson Dunlop, of 412 North Grove avenue.The mother of the bride is Mrs. William Pollock of Orellan, Douglas Gardens, Uddingston, which is near Glasgow, Scotland. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. O’Brien of Deer Creek, Illinois.The bride, who was given in marriage by her cousin, Mrs. Dunlop, was charming in a gown of Lido blue georgette brocaded with velvet. Her only attendant was Miss Annie Dunlop, who wore a gown of apple green chiffon. Ralph Moore served as the groom’s attendant. cThe bride and groom are enjoying a honeymoon in New Orleans, La., and will he at home after April 15, at 234 South Maple avenue.Among the out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. H. C. O’Brien of JDeer Creek, Mrs. B. S, Denzer of New York City and Maurice OTJrien of Detroit.The bride is a graduate of the Glasgow high school for girls and the Glasgow and West of Scotland College of Domestic Science, and the groom attended the Cleveland Technical school and Columbia; university.
