MISS RUTH MORRlCE MARRIES CALHAN MAN.Mini* Ruth Morrloe, daughter of Mr. anil Mrs. Charles Mortice of 712 Forest avenue, this city, was married on Friday. February 23rd to Mr. Frank Applegate of Calhan, Colorado.Miss Ruth is one of Canon City’s fairest daughters. She graduated from Canon City High School in the class of 1914.She was teaching school in the vicinity of Calhan when she met the young man who Was destined to be-1 come her husband.Mr. Applegate (s the son of one of the flrst families of Calhan.Mr. Applegate Sr., is one of the most successful cattlemen in his lo cality.Mr. and Mrs. Applegate Jr.. left for thoir new home on Sunday after noon.
