There wrre no guest* and tha ceremony was witnessed by only the Immediate members of the families A. dinner was nerved following the ceremony and the house was gay with pink and white blossoms. The bride was gowned In a dark blue veiling. There will be no wedding trip, but the young coupla wllf go at once to housekeeping on tho farm owned by the groom near Saybrook. The bride Is the younger daughter of Hon. V. E. Howell and Is a young woman of unusual intelligence and attractiveness. Rhe has been prominent In social circles of the city and active as a member of the D. A. R The groom Is a successful farmer and stock raiser and »\ young man of ability and culture. Tho marriage was something of a surprise to the friends of the young couple, who extend good wishes to both.
