William Snyder, pastor of the St. Andrew’s Lutheran church, Boswell performed a double ring wedding ceremony Saturday when Miss Nancy Lu Ann Shank became the bride of George Gore, Jr. Decorations at the church were bouquets of mixed flowers. Ushers were Donald Gore, brother of the bridegroom, and Alton Walters, with Michael Be-jack, Pittsburgh as best man.Music was furnished by Gilbert Davis, as soloist, and Sandra Shef-tic presided at the organ. Favorite selections of the bridal couple were presented.The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Villa L. Shank, Boswell. The bride-W.S.C.S. Groups at Mt. Pleasant for District MeetingThe Woman’s Societies of Christian Service of the various Methodist churches of the McKeesport district met Tuesday in the First Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant with about 200 local officers present. Mrs. C. L. Wedell of McKeesport, president of the district presided.Mrs. C. N. The children carried the wedding rings on white satin pillows.William Letcher Shank, brother of the bride, presented her in marriage. She wore a white lace and net gown, styled with bodice having long sleeves and high neckline. Her illusion veil was topped with a tiara. The Bible she carried had on it a corsage centered with orchids.The mother of the bride wore a beige dress with white accessories. Mrs. Gore, mother of the bridegroom, wore a muted print dress, both wore carnation corsages.At the reception which followed in the social rooms of the church,the theme “Christ for the World We Sing’’ and the World Federation of Women.A panel discussion on the work of the supply secretaries and the treasurers was presented by Mrs. Ralph Campbell and Mrs. H. A. Coughanour, both of Uniontown.The new study course books were presented by Miss Corda Weltner of Uniontown. These books are now available at the Methodist Publishing House.Mrs. H. N. Shriver of Connells-ville, reported on children’s work and Mrs. J. V. Mullins of Uniontown spoke on youth work.The district secretary of literature and publications, Mrs. J. L. Hammitt of McKeesport, discussed the materials and books available on the literature table.Mrs. S. P.
