An announcement of interest in laurel was made today when Mr. and Mrs. Curtice Brunson Cameron of this city told of the engagement and approaching marriage of their elder daughter, Ethel Ami, to Arthur Campbell Stone of Oxford. North Carolina. Mr. Stone is the son of the iate Dr. John Thomas Stone and Mrs. Charles Leonard Wilson of Whiting, Indiana.Miss Came, on was graduated from the George S. Gardiner High School in Laurel and from Jones County Junioi College at EUisville. She furthered her education at Mississippi Sou.hern College in Hattiesburg, where she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the School of Arts and Sciences.Her fiance finished at John Nichols High School in Oxford. North Carolina, and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While at the University, he played varsity baseball and was a member of Chi Psi, national social fraternity. He was graduated from the School of Commerce at Mississippi Southern College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.The wedding will take place August the third at St. John's Episcopal Church in Laurel.
