Southwest Sow a Social (SventsMrs. Ethel Forbes hold a family reunion at her Walnut home Sunday. Mr, and Mrs. N. R. Forbes and daughter of Memphis, Tenn.; Mr. and Mrs. OiTis I-Iuber and son of Clot hen, Ind.; and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Freeman and children, of New Castle, Wyo. attended.M-5. Alfred Anderson entertained Friendship club members Friday afternoon at her ‘Emerson home.Miss Joyce Becker, daughterof Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Becker, of Dunlap, and Donald Sam nelson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Samuelson, of Dow City, were married at the Dunlap Methodist church June 22, Miss Corleen Beck was maid of honor and Gene Christensen was best man. The couple will make I their home on a farm near Dow ! City.Miss Ella Baker, of Omaha, a former resident of Dunlap, became the bride of Frank Burr, i of Omaha, at St. John's Cathedral, Omaha, June 16. Mrs. Mabel Stevens was matron of honor, and Robert McGill served as best man. The couple will reside at Omaha.The wedding of Evelyn Busse Gibbs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. K. II, Russe. and Glen E. Weh-! land, of Walnut, was solemnized at the Atlantic home of the : bride’s parents, June 24. j Mrs. Darwin Green, of Des Moines, was her sister's matron of honor, Mrs. Ralph Hulin, of Walnut, sister of the groom, was a bridesmaid. Ralph Hulin was best man. After a wedding trip to Colorado, the couple will reside on a farm near Walnut.Mrs. Gertrud t Van Pelt left her Glemvood home Saturday morning for Duluth, Minn. She and Oliver M. Dwyer, of Valley City, N. D.. formerly of Gien-wood, will be married Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Van Pelt’s sister. Mrs. 0. F. Kirken-da!l. The couple will make their home on the groom's firm near Valiev City after July 7,
