McFarland-Sandberg Marriage in WilkimburgA reception in the Jacktown Hotel followed the marriage on Saturday evening, June 10th of Betty La Rue McFarland and Roger K. Sandberg, son of Mr, and Mrs. K. S. Sandberg of St. Paul, Minn.The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rawle McFarland of Commodore, Pa., wore a gown of white luce with seed pearl embroidery and a court train. A matching lace halo held her fingertip veil and she carried a white lace fan with orchids.Mrs. Darrell Miller of Niagara Fails, New York, sister of the bride, was matron-of-honor and Mrs. William Johnson and Margaret Sandberg were bridesmaids. All wore pastel gowns of frosted organza over taffeta.W. K. Sandberg acted as best man for the bridegroom and ushering were Horace H. McFarland, A. William Rorabaugh, A. D. Putman and N. C. Smith.The ceremony was performed in the Second Presbyterian Church Wilkinsburg with Rev. Vernon Martin officiating. Miss Dorothy Swan was soloist and Ross Jones presided at the organ. jMr. and Mrs. Sandberg will'make their home in Wilkinsburg after a trip to Washington, D. C.
