LASKARIS ^-Middletown Girl Married in St. James Episcopal Church, GoshenGOSHEN—At St. James Episcopal Church, here on Sunday afternoon, Miss Helene Elizabeth Arvamtes, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Harry Arvamtes of twenty-six South street, Middletown, became the bride of Alexander Peter .Laskaiis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter K. Las-karis of Sparta, Greece The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Edward R, Taft, who was assisted by the Rev. A. R. Petropoulos.The bride, attired in a Victorian style gown of ivory satin and chan-tilly lace, was given in marriage by her father. Her silk illusion fmgerhp veil fell from a crown of lilies of the valley, and she earned an arm bouquet of white orclnd, roses and babies breath.The maid of honor, Miss Esther A. Arvamtes, sister of the bride, wore a gown of white mousselme de soie and a lace picture hat. She carried a colonial bouquet of red roses. The bride's other attendants Mrs. Theodore P. Maier and Mrs. James H. Arvanites, were also attired m gowns of white mousselme de soie. They wore iaee halos and carried colonial bouquets of pmlc roses.A niece of the bnde, Miss Carolyn Ann Arvanites, was flower girl. Her gown was of ivory satin with lacs and she wore a white satin bonnettummed with hhes of the vallev.%The bridegroom's attendants wore George Chambers, best man and Aristides Nickles and Geoige Kun-aras, ushers.A reception for 100 guests was held, following the ceremony, at the Orange Inn.The couple left on a wedding trip to Canada. For her traveling outfit the bride wore a blue gabardine suit with black accessories and a 'white o.^hid corsage.
